Christine Reed, owner and operator, began developing her own baked goods ~ all are vegan and wheat-free/gluten-free~ when family and friends expressed frustration with finding delicious desserts that met their dietary needs.
She took her passion for baking to the streets and opened Shayna B’s & The Pickle in September of 2007. Starting as a vendor at her local farmer’s market, she now delivers her products to coffee shops, local grocery stores, and area health food stores in CT.
Sample menu items include: Vanilla Almond Biscotti, Local apple and pumpkin pies, and Wheat-free Wendy’s (blonde brownies). Her baked goods have all been inspired by someone ~ somehow…so you have an idea for a new dessert??…give her a call, drop her and email…and you might just find yourself on the label of a new creation rockin’ the gluten free world of desserts.
