When Bob Zemmel and his wife Linda opened Alforno in 1992, their original singular goal was to bring the brick oven pizza made famous on New Haven’s Wooster St. to the shoreline! Nearly 30 years later, they may have added a few more delicious entrées and pastas to their menu but overall this casual Italian bistro and pizzeria has remained focused on that original goal!
